Whoa! has it been a hot minute since we jumped on the blog! Way, way, way too long…but don’t worry, we won’t leave you hanging again (promise!). But we have some major news… the flip house is done!!! I can’t even believe I am saying this. It feels like it’s been such a long run when in reality it’s only been a few months that our team (mostly Michael) completely renovated an entire home from the ground up! More to come on the full story, as today I want to chat with you all about the flooring we selected. We went with one floor for the entire home, including both bathrooms and we’re sharing our top five reasons why we chose luxury vinyl plank or also called LVP flooring for the entire house!

LVP FLOORING EASY INSTALLATION 

I am going to let Michael jump in on this one! 

Hey hey! Ok, so NovaFloor LVP Flooring is super easy and quick to install. We were fortunate going into this project knowing the floor intimately as we used it throughout our basement remodel and I love the product. Once you get the first row laid out (which is the most important step IMO) the rest is a breeze. You just lock it in, snap it down and give a tap or two with a rubber mallet to ensure it’s tightly connected and move on to the next one. It can get a little more time consuming when you have to change the direction in which you’re installing, but after a few pieces it will fly.
