SPA RETREAT BATHROOM // AUBURN + ARCADIA PROJECT

We are so excited to be back into the Auburn + Arcadia home. If you weren’t following along for the kitchen remodel then you can check it out here. This is one of our favorite projects to date so we can’t wait to show you the master bathroom remodel. 

BEFORE IMAGES 

Our client’s primary bathroom doubles as the guest bathroom, which meant we had a challenge. How can we make it feel like a space of their own, while making sure it’s still functional for guests? The overall goal was to create a spa-like environment with a small space. We were limited against major structural changes, however we were confident that the right design would achieve our goal. 

Follow along while we take you through the process of this spa-like remodel. 

CONCEPT BOARD

First we kicked off the project by creating a Pinterest board for our client to pin their inspiration. This always helps us get a feel for our clients’ style. Then we select inspiration images paired with actual materials to see if we are hitting the mark. As you can see, we recommended a light and airy space with contrasting metals to give it that luxurious feel. 

MOOD BOARD

Once we have confirmed we are on the right track it’s time to source materials, furniture, lighting, and more. This is the fun part since we’re now pairing our client’s vision with our own creativity to bring everything to life. During the sourcing process we always make sure to select items that are beautiful, purposeful, and most importantly functional.
