ECLECTIC MODERN MINIMALIST HOME OFFICE DESIGN // JENER + SUNSET STAIRCASE REVEAL

Next up on our Jener + Sunset Modern Minimalist project reveal is the staircase update! As a reminder this project was mainly design focused with a few custom builds in the office and pantry. The client already had a great start to their spaces and just needed a little extra help pulling everything together. 

Lets show you where we started!

With a few simple updates we were able to turn a bland stair case into its own custom space. See below after images for a breakdown of the easy updates you can make to your staircase for a complete transformation! 

GALLERY WALL

This blank wall was screaming for a focal point! Since our client already had plenty of art from their  travels we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to display some through a gallery wall. This gallery wall consisted of 6 destinations visited on a trip to Hawaii, leaving us with a even number. Therefore, a symmetrical layout made the most sense. LIGHTING

Lighting fixtures can make a huge impact in a space and can really help define your homes style. It’s truly one of the simplest updates you can do! For this space we went with a linear light fixture with zigin porpotiioate to the space. We also made sure the rod was the correct length to be hung at a height you could see through the window.

STAIR RUNNER

A stair runner can add warmth, functionality and character to your stair case. It can also help tie the lower and upper levels together for a cohesive feel. In this case we picked a neutral stair runner that matched the upstairs carpet for a seamless finish.
