Plymouth MI Design Build Studio
About Clark and Aldine
A studio built around a table, a family, and a shared belief that a home should be worth the time it takes to do well.
Two disciplines.
One home. One family.
Clark and Aldine began at the intersection of two disciplines and one marriage. Michael, a licensed general contractor with a builder’s instinct for structure and sequence. Danielle, a designer whose hand shapes every room — from the architecture of the plan to the last linen on the bed.
Together, we built a studio around a simple belief: a home is not a project to be completed. It is a place to be lived in, for years, by the people you love most. Our work is for clients who understand that, and who want a partner steady enough to lead them through it.
We are based in Plymouth, Michigan. We work across Plymouth, Northville, Ann Arbor, and the surrounding Southeast Michigan areas where thoughtful homes have always had a place.
Quality is not a luxury.
It is the standard.
We do not use the word luxury. Not because the work is not elevated — it is — but because the word has stopped meaning anything specific. What we care about is quality. Intentionality. Warmth. Intimacy. Rooms that feel considered from any angle. Details that hold up to close attention because close attention is how we design them.
A home built this way costs more to design and more to build. It also lasts longer, ages better, and asks less of you over time. That is the quiet math of doing something well.
