A CLEAR NOTE ON INVESTMENT.
Our custom homes begin at $1,500,000, exclusive of land, and generally run $600 to $1,000 per square foot depending on scope, structure, and finish level.
That is a wide range and we would rather explain it than let you guess. A straightforward layout with restrained finishes sits near the bottom. Complex structure, custom millwork throughout, and a high-specification interior sits near the top. Two homes of identical square footage can be separated by more than a million dollars, and neither number is wrong — they are different houses.
Most builders will not put any of this in writing. We do, because we think the alternative is worse: a family spends six months falling in love with a design they were never going to be able to build, and finds out at the proposal.
If our range does not match what you had in mind, tell us anyway. We will tell you honestly what your budget can realistically build in this market, and if that is not us, we will point you toward someone good. We would rather be useful to you now than be the reason you wasted a year.
