Home Renovation in Plymouth MI
Auburn + Grace
Warm. Grounded. Timeless with a modern edge.
A 1950s Plymouth bungalow honored and reimagined — every room thoughtfully updated to balance the home’s original charm with the demands of how a modern family actually lives.
The Best Homes Don’t Erase Their History. They Build On It.
Some homes are worth saving — and Auburn + Grace was absolutely one of them. Rather than starting over, we chose to listen to what this 1950s Plymouth bungalow was telling us, and then we gave it everything it needed to carry that character forward.
The result is a full home transformation that feels both new and familiar. Every mechanical system was replaced from the ground up: new HVAC, electrical, and plumbing built for decades of reliable performance. And then, room by room, the interiors were reimagined — clean lines meeting warmth, refined finishes meeting everyday durability, and an ease of flow that makes the whole home feel purposeful without feeling precious.
Nothing about Auburn + Grace was arbitrary. The palette, the materials, the furniture — all of it was chosen to reflect a cohesive, livable aesthetic that feels at home in its own skin. The bones of a 1950s bungalow. The soul of an intentional life.
Preserved Character, Elevated Everywhere
We didn’t renovate away the charm that made this home worth saving. The scale, the rooflines, the original sense of intimacy — all of it was preserved and honored, while every interior surface was updated to feel fresh, refined, and purposeful.
Systems Built to Last
Behind the walls, this home was rebuilt from scratch — all-new mechanical systems ensuring that the comfort and reliability match the visual transformation. A beautiful home that also works beautifully.
Cohesive Design, Room to Room
From the kitchen to the bedrooms to the finishing layers of furniture and decor, every room was designed as part of a single, unified story. Nothing clashes. Nothing feels like an afterthought. The whole home moves together.
“A home that feels grounded in history, yet built for the way a modern family lives today.”
